About Puchong Hub

Hi, I’m Lucian Yong. I was born and raised in Petaling Jaya, but I’ve spent almost 20 years living in Puchong. Over the years, this place slowly became part of my everyday life.

Puchong can be busy and congested sometimes. But honestly, there’s something about this area that I really enjoy. Everything feels close here. From food places and local cafes to hardware shops, construction material factories, workshops, and small family businesses — you can find almost anything in Puchong  I’ve also built a few of my own businesses here, which makes this place even more meaningful to me personally.

PuchongHub started as a personal side project.

I enjoy exploring places around Puchong, visiting shops, trying food, talking to local business owners, and discovering hidden gems around the area. Sometimes I spend hours doing surveys and exploring places myself just out of curiosity. I wanted to create a simple local platform where people can discover useful places, honest recommendations, and real local businesses around Puchong without all the fake hype.

Besides running this project, I work as a freelance web designer and digital marketer. I’ve been freelancing since my college days. Even during my early years working full-time in banking and finance as a personal banker, I continued building websites and helping businesses grow online. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with many local businesses and learned how important online visibility can be for small and growing companies.

I hope this small project can help people around Puchong discover better places, useful services, and honest local businesses nearby. At the same time, I also hope it can help local business owners gain more exposure and reach more people online.
